Nana Bunsik at NeWest stands out not only for its affordable Korean street food but for its DOSIRAK which is quite hard to find in Singapore!! 😍 The last time I had Dosirak was at Nami Island in Korea and I had so much fun shaking my bento box so imagine my happiness when I saw it on their menu.

Man this was soooo filling! The dosirak comes with spam, kimchi, kimchi fried rice, sunny side up egg, seaweed and anchovies. Ultimate comfort food where the flavours mixed so well together! The kimchi here is more on the sourish side so the dish didn’t get surfeiting towards the end.

Apparently fried chicken is only sold at nights but we lucked out when we asked if they could fry a batch for us hahaha. This was good; generously coated and rather addictive.

Bursting with ingredients, I would say you have to get this to share if you aren’t eating the dosirak of the same flavour. They have a variety of gimbap flavours to choose from and I would love to try the crabmeat mayo one next time.

For its price, Nana Bunsik is the go-to neighbourhood Korean food stall for westies. They open till late night (1am!) from Thursdays to Saturdays and I can imagine it’d be a good place for Koreans snacks and alcohol.
p/s: look out for the crocheted Korean food by the side of the wall! Uber cute hahaha
