Go!!!
Offering just five burger types and two side options, the folks behind Ordinary Burgers sure are confident of their burger game.
Buttermilk Fried Chicken, $5.90.
The fried chicken was super juicy thanks to the buttermilk, but the wow factor here was the salted egg yolk sauce that’s drizzled over the fried chicken. The sauce had all the elements of salted egg yolk, was neither too thick nor runny, and had a tinge of aromatic sweetness. More importantly, my chicken was still super crunchy despite the sauce. Win-win!
Onion Rings, $2.80.
The onion rings on the other hand were run of the mill. I think it’s made from onion mash rather than actual rings because the shape and size of the rings are too uniformed. That said, the onion rings were fried to perfection and well drained so it was still an enjoyable side dish.
Ordinary Burgers is definitely one of the better fast food burger places I’ve eaten at. I am hopeful more sides would be offered in time to come since it’s a relatively new establishment.
