Location
Conveniently located in Scotts Square, along the belt of Orchard Road, Sushi Ichi is the place to bring your date for a fancy japanese meal. My sister and I brought our dad there for lunch on a Saturday afternoon to celebrate his birthday!

Interior

Guests are seated comfortably around the sushi chef work station.

For my particular room, it can accommodate up to 7 pax. While walking into my room I noticed another longish counter which seats more people, but that counter had 2 chefs. Not enough time and stealth mode skills to check out how large exactly the place is, but it guarantees a comfortable personal space and sufficient attention from the chef.

Food

The menu can be found on their website (here). I took Ume ($60), my sister took Tsubaki ($110) while my dad took Sakura ($170). I had wanted to list down what each set entailed, but I couldn’t bear to spoil the surprise for you. Don’t you hate it when you’ve already watched the trailer of a certain show and therefore totally knew what was going to happen during the movie itself? Hence, picture spam!

What makes it worth the money? Apart from the different kinds of seafood and the various ways they’re prepared, constant hot ocha is always within your reach. Not that they kept refilling my ocha, but they kept replacing my cup with another! talk about service!
